Orion Chat es una app de chat para Windows. Acá te contamos qué datos guarda, para qué los usa y cómo podés borrarlos. Para cualquier consulta, escribinos a orionchat.app@gmail.com.

1. Qué datos guardamos

Tu cuenta: tu nombre, tu mail, tu contraseña (guardada cifrada: nadie puede leerla, ni siquiera nosotros), tu foto de perfil, tu frase personal, las redes sociales que agregues y tu ID para que te agreguen.
Lo que compartís: los mensajes, imágenes y reacciones de tus chats, y las notas, imágenes y audios que pegás en los salones.
Tus contactos: a quién agregaste y a quién bloqueaste.
Reportes: si reportás a alguien, guardamos el motivo, lo que escribas y una copia de los últimos 30 mensajes entre ustedes, solo para poder revisar el reporte.

2. Lo que no guardamos

Las llamadas, videollamadas y la pantalla compartida no se graban ni se guardan. Van directo entre las computadoras; si la red no lo permite, pasan por un servidor de retransmisión que tampoco las guarda.
No mostramos publicidad, no vendemos tus datos y no usamos herramientas de seguimiento ni de estadísticas de otras empresas.

3. Para qué los usamos

Para que la app funcione: iniciar sesión, mostrarles tu perfil a tus amigos y entregar tus mensajes.
Para mandarte mails solo cuando vos lo pedís: el código para recuperar la contraseña.
Para la seguridad: tu dirección IP se usa, como mucho por una hora y solo en la memoria del servidor, para frenar a quien intente adivinar contraseñas o mandar mensajes en masa. Además, los registros técnicos del servidor (que incluyen la IP) se borran solos a los 14 días.
Para la moderación: revisar reportes y suspender cuentas que no respetan los términos de uso.

4. Quién más interviene

El proveedor de hosting donde funciona el servidor de Orion Chat, que guarda los datos por nosotros.
Google (Gmail), que envía los mails con el código para recuperar la contraseña.
Si descargaste la app desde la Microsoft Store, Microsoft procesa esa descarga según sus propias políticas.

No compartimos tus datos con nadie más, salvo que una ley nos obligue.

5. En tu computadora

La app guarda en tu PC tu sesión (cifrada por Windows, y solo si elegís "Permanecer conectado") y tus preferencias: tema, idioma y letra del chat.

6. Cuánto tiempo los guardamos

Mientras tengas tu cuenta. Cuando la eliminás, se borra todo; en las copias de seguridad del servidor puede quedar como máximo 14 días más, hasta que se borran solas.

7. Tus derechos

Ver y corregir tus datos: desde tu perfil en la app.
Borrar todo: en la app, menú ▼ → Eliminar mi cuenta. Se borran tu cuenta, tus mensajes, tus amistades, los salones que creaste y tus archivos.
Cualquier otro pedido (por ejemplo, una copia de tus datos): escribinos a orionchat.app@gmail.com.

8. Edad mínima

Para usar Orion Chat tenés que tener al menos 13 años, o la edad que exija la ley de tu país si es mayor.

9. Cambios

Si cambiamos esta política, publicamos la versión nueva en esta página con la fecha actualizada.

Orion Chat is a chat app for Windows. Here we explain what data it stores, what it uses it for, and how you can delete it. For any questions, email us at orionchat.app@gmail.com.

1. What we store

Your account: your name, your email, your password (stored hashed: nobody can read it, not even us), your profile picture, your status message, the social networks you add and your ID so people can add you.
What you share: the messages, images and reactions in your chats, and the notes, images and audio you stick on room walls.
Your contacts: who you added and who you blocked.
Reports: if you report someone, we keep the reason, what you write, and a copy of the last 30 messages between you, only to review the report.

2. What we don't store

Voice calls, video calls and screen sharing are never recorded or stored. They go directly between computers; if the network doesn't allow it, they go through a relay server that doesn't store them either.
We don't show ads, we don't sell your data, and we don't use tracking or analytics tools from other companies.

3. What we use it for

To make the app work: signing in, showing your profile to your friends and delivering your messages.
To email you only when you ask: the code to reset your password.
For security: your IP address is used for at most one hour, only in the server's memory, to stop people from guessing passwords or mass-sending messages. The server's technical logs (which include the IP) are also deleted automatically after 14 days.
For moderation: reviewing reports and suspending accounts that break the terms of use.

4. Who else is involved

The hosting provider that runs the Orion Chat server and stores the data for us.
Google (Gmail), which sends the password reset emails.
If you downloaded the app from the Microsoft Store, Microsoft handles that download under its own policies.

We don't share your data with anyone else, unless the law requires it.

5. On your computer

The app stores your session on your PC (encrypted by Windows, and only if you choose "Stay signed in") and your preferences: theme, language and chat font.

6. How long we keep it

As long as you have your account. When you delete it, everything is deleted; it may remain in the server backups for at most 14 more days, until they are deleted automatically.

7. Your rights

See and correct your data: from your profile in the app.
Delete everything: in the app, menu ▼ → Delete my account. Your account, messages, friendships, the rooms you created and your files are deleted.
Any other request (for example, a copy of your data): email us at orionchat.app@gmail.com.

8. Minimum age

You must be at least 13 years old to use Orion Chat, or the age required by the law of your country if it is higher.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with the updated date.

2. 我们不保存的内容

语音通话、视频通话和屏幕共享从不录制，也不保存。它们在电脑之间直接传输；如果网络不允许，会经过一个中转服务器，该服务器同样不会保存。
我们不展示广告，不出售你的数据，也不使用其他公司的追踪或统计工具。

3. 数据的用途

让应用正常运行：登录、向好友展示你的资料、发送你的消息。
仅在你主动申请时给你发邮件：用于找回密码的验证码。
安全：你的 IP 地址只会在服务器内存中使用，最多一小时，用来阻止猜测密码或批量发送消息的行为。此外，服务器的技术日志（包含 IP 地址）会在 14 天后自动删除。
管理：审核举报，并停用违反使用条款的账号。

4. 其他参与方

运行 Orion Chat 服务器的托管服务商，代我们保存数据。
Google（Gmail），负责发送找回密码的邮件。
如果你是从 Microsoft Store 下载的应用，Microsoft 会按照其自身的政策处理该下载。

除非法律要求，我们不会与任何其他人共享你的数据。

5. 你的电脑上

应用会在你的电脑上保存你的登录状态（由 Windows 加密，且仅在你选择"保持登录"时保存）以及你的偏好设置：主题、语言和聊天字体。

6. 保存多久

只要你的账号存在，我们就会保存。你注销账号后，所有数据都会被删除；服务器备份中最多还会保留 14 天，之后会自动删除。

7. 你的权利

查看和修改你的数据：在应用的个人资料中操作。
删除全部数据：在应用中点击 ▼ 菜单 → 注销账号。你的账号、消息、好友关系、你创建的房间和文件都会被删除。
其他任何请求（例如获取你的数据副本）：请发邮件至 orionchat.app@gmail.com。

8. 最低年龄

使用 Orion Chat 须年满 13 岁；如果你所在国家的法律要求更高的年龄，则以法律规定为准。

9. 政策变更

如果我们修改本政策，会在本页面发布新版本并更新日期。
